Mews News - the latest Mews!

Hiya all my loyal followers,

I is been a very busy/sleepy kitty the last couple of weeks as it is getting a bit chilly over here.

Thankfully the Dadda has made a new thingy fur the fireplace and I is much warmer now.

They also have a big TV type thingy which means I gets more cuddles at night and I can steal their heat if the glowy fireplace thing gets a bit cold.

I can mainly be found here in the day, especially if the humans are outside doing stuff (which they are a lot)
Undercover Cat

I have also found the new 'Magic Tap' downstairs - it is great fun!

Over the last couple of weeks the humans have let me out without the harness thing and the lead (how humiliating!)

                  Humiliating                                                                    Better

 'Freedom!

 Coaxial Cat Trap!

I have met one of the dog things from next door called Lucy - she is scared of me and walks off if I see her in my garden - I is very brave!

I scared the humans last week when I decided to climb the big wooden thing with sticky out bits ( I think they call it a Tree??) to see where the birds are.
When I got part way up they were nowhere to be found, so I had to come back down again - I waited for the humans to get my treats out first to make it worth my while!

Later on that day I climbed up on a stone post and then used the Dadda humans shoulder to jump onto the roof over the gate - still couldn't see those birds!!

                             Post
 Roof

                                                                                                                                   Off!

The humans went away in the big green roary thing last week and another human (I think they call her Callie) came to look after me and give me fud and cuddles.
We watched strictly come dancing and Mary Berry on the TV thingy - I likes Callie very much, she is my new friend xx

My new friend Callie

Had a walk on the Darma Greenhouse the other day to watch the humans at work on the allotment, I hope the Dadda human mends it soon - its a bit wobbly up there!!

Time to go now and snuggle by the fiery thing,

hope you have a good 'lots of Turkums day' and get to have lots of hiccuppy stuff and snoozes in front of the TV thingy.

Heres another photo of me looking sexy !!!

will update soon,

Weeks 5-6

Hi all, late again - where does the time go??

Had a quick trip back to UK last week to empty ShedB - Still not quite finished!!
Many thanks to B & big Sis for putting us up.
We both managed a quick visit to Fonthill to see the Polar bears - Christmas is officially here now.

Talking of which........... They're Back!!

Last week we made some Cider* using the apple picker I made last year, sadly no Robot to push it this year - Dave get a move on!!

* 80% Apples, 20% Quinces

Started on Salt dough Christmas decorations for the tree

Shed is slowly being kitted out, I have set up Pillar Drill, Lathe and Welder - time to create!!

I also had a little helper mending the puncture in the Wheelbarrow wheel

Finished the hybrid fire grate, it works very well and heats up the room much more efficiently than before. Waiting to build another pipe bender and upgrade to 1,1/4 pipe with a fan to blow more hot air into the room

'Bespoke'

Bex has been busy on the Allotment, planted Strawberries and Shallots  - a lot more digging to be done!

I have started work on repairing the Darma Greenhouse, needed some blocks for a pillar so 'borrowed' some from the wobbly Pig pen wall

Made a Christmas tree from 3 branches off one of the 40footers outside,  complete with remote controlled colour changing LEDs -decorations to follow.........

Friday also saw the unveiling of the 'Cheddar' cheese I made a month ago, ''a slight bit of mould on the outside is common" says the book.

Invited our neigbours Callie and Larry round for a cheese and biscuit evening (avec Port) to try it out.
Surprisingly it was Cheddar coloured under the 'coating' and tasted much like a mix of Stilton and Cheddar or 'Stilder' as we like to call it.

Checked on the neighbours Saturday morning - everyone is alive!!

Cycled to Ceauce (me, Bex and Callie) yesterday to see the village illuminations, drove back again in the evening when it was darker to see them in all their glory.

Another bike ride today, followed by working on the allotment until the sun set.

This makes it all worth it!!

We now have an Owl in the orchard, starts 'twoo-ing' in the evening till about 11PM and occasionally in the early hours of the morning - makes a pleasant change from the screeching of ShiteHawks in Bath!!

Signing off now, apologies for the delay in updating - will try harder.

Wishing all of you a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year,

Mew is updating his 'Mews News' later - lots of exciting news!!

Until next time,

Mr Goth xxx
