Week 3/4

Hi all,
I have been away for a few days in Bath to empty ShedB.

Got to visit the Foothill Garden Centre Polar Bears ;-)

Hes a Big Un!!

Sadly, even with a trailer, I didn't manage to get it all back so we may be back again before Christmas.
Couldn't fit anymore in :-(

Bex has been busy in the allotment fighting brambles and I returned in time to burn em all!

Bramble Bouquets for the Fire Gods!

Bex has also been busy making me some birthday presents while I was away - good skills!

A handmade 'Squatty Potty' for those who have seen the video!

Does it work?
you will have to find out for yourself!!

For those who don't know what this is - here is a link;
Squatty Potty

Also a lovely advent calendar filled with handmade chocolate truffles and more goodies to open before Christmas day!!

I have started on the fireplace insert yesterday - more photos when it is finished.

Also started on Quince Rum yesterday - will need more Rum!

We made Black forest Gateau this morning, the cherries had a marked affect on the structural integrity of the Gateau leading to a bit of slippage.

Had a lovely dinner with Larry and Callie our neighbours, all the Veg and the chicken were grown by them - much to live up to next year!

Weather has been much better than the UK so far, everyone take care with the wind and the rain.

We have plenty to do next week and I will try to keep up to date with the blog.

Many thanks to everyone for their cards, presents and best wishes for my Birthday, off for a drop of port,

Mr Goth xxx
