Bake off

Saturday night spent making Blackcurrant and unidentified fruit pies - We Rock!!!

Frozen fruit imported from our allotment,  frozen circa 2012/13

JusRoll pastry imported from our freezer,  frozen circa 2014

The results were................. 'interesting'




Emergency Tart with the leftovers




Made up for by French pork with Crackling - unheard of over here, and homemade apple sauce with apples from our orchard (only a small drop of Pheasant was wasted on cooking)

      still working our way through the vintage 2014 Marmite at the moment, found a big jar of 'Herbs de Provence' circa 2009 an 'interesting' flavour
